Financial Analyst Senior (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Record, classify, summarize, and interpret financial and contractual transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Develop and maintain processes, perform complex calculations, and support strategic plans, operating budgets, monthly close, contracting, and financial statements.
• Analyze revenue and expenses against business volumes and prepare reports for financial management.
• Maintain processes for regulatory and third-party changes, quarterly workpapers, annual audits, cost accounting, and third-party cost reporting.
• Perform variance analysis, financial modeling, trend analysis, and root cause analysis to support operational and contracting decisions.
• Monitor healthcare industry and third-party payer regulations, communicate financial impacts, and recommend budget, cost, and revenue improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience and education.
• At least 4 years of financial analysis experience.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet applications and database management.
• Ability to work remotely from Pennsylvania, United States.
• Ability to understand and apply financial, healthcare, regulatory, and contractual information.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• CPA, CMA, FHFMA, CHFMA, or CRA certification.
• Experience with sponsored program administration.
• Experience applying complex federal regulations and policies.
