Financial Planning & Analysis Senior Manager (Insurance)

Location: Remote in the United States; listed locations include Dallas, TX and Huntington Beach, CA.

Salary: $145,000–$165,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead full P&L and non-P&L budgeting and forecasting based on business trends, decisions, and sales input.
• Manage annual budget, quarterly forecast, and monthly financial reporting processes.
• Partner with business leaders to connect key metrics and operational decisions to financial performance.
• Prepare ad-hoc analyses to support business strategy, efficiency, and return on investment.
• Work with Accounting during month-end, summarize results, and assess impacts on future forecasts.
• Improve and streamline budget and forecast processes while guiding the FP&A function.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• At least 5 years of experience in financial analytics.
• Required experience with full P&L budgeting and forecasting.
• Advanced Excel skills, including in-depth business analytics and financial modeling.
• Strong understanding of P&L relationships and the ability to connect business or client decisions to financial impacts.
• Knowledge of a visualization tool such as Tableau, with strong critical-thinking and prioritization skills.
