Senior Lead Financial Analyst (AI)

Location: Hybrid role with 3 days per week in a Guardian office in Hudson Yards, NYC; Holmdel, NJ; Bethlehem, PA; Pittsfield, MA; or Boston, MA, and 2 days working from home.

Salary: $132,420–$217,545 base pay per year, with potential eligibility for additional incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, management reporting, and P&L analysis for the Park Avenue Wealth Management business.
• Analyze margin, profitability, channel economics, client economics, producer economics, net flows, and cost-to-serve.
• Develop business cases, ROI frameworks, and financial models for budgeting, driver-based planning, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Lead complex, high-visibility analytical initiatives with significant risk and cross-functional dependencies.
• Present complex findings and clear recommendations to senior Finance and business leaders.
• Advise and mentor colleagues while contributing to Finance strategy, data industrialization, AI, and automation.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience developing and presenting financial and business analytics, including to senior leadership.
• At least 7 years of experience analyzing financial statements and interpreting their underlying drivers.
• Advanced Excel and data or analytics tool experience, including work with large, complex, multi-source datasets.
• Experience applying automation and AI to create repeatable, scalable analytical processes.
• Ability to work independently, validate data, resolve discrepancies, and communicate complex findings in clear, non-technical terms.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with wealth management economics in financial services or insurance.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional analytical initiatives and influencing decisions beyond the immediate team.
• Knowledge of multiple business areas such as sales, finance, life, disability, wealth, brokerage, or distribution.
• Experience partnering with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
