Technical Program Manager (Healthcare Technology)

Location: New York City office with a hybrid schedule requiring three days of in-office work per week; Thursdays are required in-office

Salary: $117,576.00–$154,318.50 per year, plus annual performance bonuses and employee benefits

What you will do

• Lead complex technical programs from scoping through launch and operational handoff.
• Build integrated plans covering owners, milestones, dependencies, risks, and success measures.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and business leaders across network, growth, member, and clinical teams.
• Coordinate vendors and internal teams through integrations, testing, adoption, launch readiness, and security, privacy, and compliance reviews.
• Support quarterly and annual planning by communicating progress, risks, decisions, and business impact to leaders.
• Help improve Tech PMO practices and delivery processes.

Requirements

• Experience independently leading complex technical programs across multiple teams from planning through launch and operational handoff.
• Technical fluency in software systems, APIs, data flows, integrations, and implementation tradeoffs.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems and manage dependencies, risks, competing priorities, and changing plans.
• Experience building trust and influencing technical and business decisions without direct authority.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including explaining complex issues and recommendations to senior leaders.
• Strong ownership and follow-through.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, health insurance, or another regulated industry.
• Experience with provider platforms, clinical systems, consumer digital products, enrollment, broker platforms, distribution platforms, or marketing technology.
• Experience with external vendors, platform migrations, or complex system integrations.
• Experience improving planning and delivery practices or adopting new tools and ways of working.
• Experience delivering AI-enabled products or workflow automation, including evaluation and operational readiness.
