Senior Technical Program Manager (AI)

Location: Hybrid, with in-office collaboration three days per week in Los Angeles, Palo Alto, or San Francisco, California

Salary: $160,000–$175,000 per year, with geographic adjustment based on the approved work location

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of high-impact programs across recommendation infrastructure and models, subscriptions, payments, ads, lifecycle messaging, and CRM.
• Coordinate Recs, Revenue, and Engagement teams with Product, Engineering, Design, Analytics, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Localization.
• Track milestones, dependencies, ownership, sequencing, release plans, and risks across mobile, backend, ML, and web engineering.
• Identify and resolve issues, improve delivery processes, and maintain high standards for quality and velocity.
• Provide executive and senior leadership with program health reports, status updates, escalations, and recommended actions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of Technical Program Management experience for consumer mobile products at scale.
• Experience with recommendations, ranking, personalization, monetization, subscriptions, payments, ads, growth, or lifecycle messaging.
• Ability to manage concurrent programs across multiple teams using delivery plans, dependency maps, release plans, and risk registers.
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills with product managers, engineering leads, and senior leadership.
• Hands-on AI tool experience, including Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor, to automate program management work and improve communication.
• Expertise in Jira, Jira Product Discovery, Confluence, Google Suite, Figma, agile methodologies, PDLC, and SDLC practices.

Nice to have

• Subscription billing and payment experience, including Apple in-app purchase, Google Play Billing, web checkout, or alternative payment programs.
• Knowledge of the ML project lifecycle, including data readiness, training, evaluation, experimentation, and rollout.
• Experience with programmatic advertising, ad placements, mediation, or iOS and Android SDK integrations.
• Familiarity with push, SMS, and email lifecycle messaging platforms and regional compliance requirements.
