Management Accountant (Retail)

Salary: £45,000–£50,000 per annum

International luxury lifestyle and retail organisation operating across premium retail, wellness, beauty, fragrance, fashion, and consumer products.

What you will do

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting.
• Post and review journals, accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and reconciliations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow forecasting, and working capital management.
• Produce variance analysis and commentary for senior management.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, year-end close, audits, and statutory reporting.
• Monitor inventory, stock movements, cost of sales, financial controls, and reporting improvements.

Requirements

• Part-qualified, finalist, or qualified by experience.
• Previous experience as a Management Accountant.
• Strong month-end accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyse and manipulate large datasets.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with non-finance stakeholders and manage multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience in retail, consumer goods, luxury, hospitality, e-commerce, or FMCG.
