Analytics and Statistics Manager - Savings

Location: Hybrid in Leeds, Birmingham or Bristol, UK, with at least two days per week or 40% of working time at an office site

Salary: £72,702–£80,780 per year

What you will do

• Develop, maintain and enhance savings forecasting models supporting balance, proposition, income and pricing decisions.
• Perform forecasting, scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis for business planning and commercial decisions.
• Translate business assumptions, pricing actions and market insights into analytical models and outputs.
• Develop forecasting methodologies and new analytics tools while automating processes and reducing manual intervention.
• Analyse customer, competitor and market trends to improve understanding of future performance.
• Produce actionable insights and collaborate with Commercial, Pricing, Finance, Product and Analytics stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience in forecasting, analytics, modelling or data science within financial services or a similar analytical environment.
• Strong knowledge of forecasting techniques, time-series analysis, regression, driver modelling and quantitative methods.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets, scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis.
• Coding capability in SQL and either Python or R.
• Advanced Excel and VBA skills, plus data visualisation and insight storytelling abilities.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Retail banking, savings or pricing experience.
• Experience developing forecasting, scenario-planning or customer behaviour models.
• Experience with analytical tool development, automation initiatives or Power BI.
