Third Party Logistics Finance Lead

Location: Pontefract, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom; based in Elmsall, West Yorkshire

Salary: Up to £45,000 per year

hirify.global's Logistics Finance team supports Third Party Logistics and Total Platform operations.

What you will do

• Own weekly financial reporting, client billing, and month-end processes.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting for new business logistics operations.
• Build financial models and analyse opportunities for new clients.
• Partner with clients and operational stakeholders, presenting insights and challenging performance.
• Analyse cost drivers, improve efficiency and profitability, and support continuous improvement.
• Improve finance processes and reporting, and deputise for the Finance Manager when required.

Requirements

• Experience in finance, ideally in Third Party Logistics or warehousing, with an understanding of operational cost drivers.
• Part-qualified CIMA, ACCA, or ACA accountant, or qualified by experience.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Strong analytical and commercial skills with the ability to turn financial data into actionable insights.
• Confident communication and stakeholder-influencing skills, including presenting to clients.
• Proactive approach and commitment to continuous improvement.

Nice to have

• SQL experience.
