Commercial Finance Manager (AI)

What you will do

• Provide commercial decision support through analysis of product profitability, channel performance, customer experience, and investment opportunities.
• Own the KPI framework and improve the integrity, consistency, and business use of performance reporting.
• Partner with senior leaders on strategy KPIs, project governance, investment reviews, and long-term planning.
• Lead the weekly trading meeting and develop cross-functional performance insights for leadership.
• Own the investment appraisal model for new retail stores and evaluate the commercial viability of proposals.
• Design and maintain financial reporting in Power BI and lead finance input into data and AI strategy.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant: ACA, CIMA, or ACCA.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to work collaboratively and autonomously.
• Interest in business intelligence tools and willingness to learn new solutions.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in the retail industry.
• Experience with Microsoft Business Central or Power BI.
