Senior Manager Software Engineering (Fintech)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of software engineers, setting direction and fostering accountability.
• Oversee software architecture, development, implementation, and deployment with a focus on quality and scalability.
• Translate business requirements into short- and long-term technical strategies.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize work, allocate resources, and deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Improve engineering practices, processes, and systems to increase efficiency and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience with progression into team leadership or management.
• Experience leading technical teams, managing competing priorities, and delivering results in complex, matrixed environments.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to engineering and business stakeholders.
• Experience evaluating systems, identifying improvements, and implementing scalable solutions.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Financial Technology, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications in relevant engineering or technology domains.
• Experience in capital markets, fintech, or regulated industry environments.
