Manager, Agent Architecture US (AI)

Location: New York office or remotely in the USA

Salary: $160,000–$180,000 USD per year in on-target earnings, including base salary and a performance-based variable component, plus equity.

What you will do

• Build and lead the Agent Architecture team, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance reviews, and career development.
• Set team goals and OKRs, manage capacity across concurrent customer engagements, and communicate resourcing trade-offs.
• Represent Agent Architecture with Sales, Product, Engineering, customers, and partners.
• Guide enterprise customers through AI agent implementations from strategic advice and scoping through end-to-end delivery.
• Act as the escalation point for degraded agent performance and define repeatable quality standards.
• Document best practices and turn recurring customer problems into structured feedback for Product.

Requirements

• Experience leading people as a manager, team lead, or sustained mentor responsible for group growth and output.
• 3+ years of experience in conversation design and AI agent development.
• Track record of building scalable solution architecture and conversational experiences grounded in user needs.
• Advanced prompt engineering skills and experience integrating REST APIs and working with JavaScript.
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills, including significant enterprise customer experience in escalated or high-pressure situations.
• Must work from the New York office or remotely in the USA.
