Lead Software Development Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $133,900–$190,750 per year in base pay, with potential performance-based bonuses and restricted stock unit awards.

What you will do

• Lead the architecture and evolution of scalable, secure, distributed backend services and API platforms.
• Integrate LLM-based services and agentic AI frameworks into core product architecture.
• Design secure, real-time integration patterns between hirify.global platforms and Salesforce.
• Build data integration layers and resilient migration pipelines for high-volume enterprise workloads.
• Establish observability, monitoring, alerting, rate-limiting, resource management, and high-availability practices.
• Lead technical reviews, collaborative design sessions, and architectural decisions across backend and AI/ML teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with ownership of complex, distributed, highly available enterprise systems.
• Deep expertise in backend system design, RESTful and gRPC APIs, event-driven architectures, and enterprise design patterns.
• Hands-on experience integrating and productionizing AI/ML applications, LLM APIs, RAG pipelines, or agentic frameworks.
• Experience designing deep integrations with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; hirify.global participates in E-Verify.

Nice to have

• Experience with payment services, workforce management, or enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Experience designing large-scale migrations and system-wide application refactoring.
• Open-source contributions, technical publications, or engineering conference speaking experience.
