Head of Strategic Finance

Location: Hybrid, London, United Kingdom; at least one day per week in the central London office. Work from another location is available for up to six weeks per year.

Salary: £110,000–£120,000 per year, based on experience.

hirify.global develops screen-free interactive audio players and content for children, combining connected hardware, subscriptions, and a catalogue of more than 1,000 audio titles.

What you will do

• Lead capital strategy, fundraise readiness, and board reporting, owning both the financial analysis and the supporting narrative.
• Build scenario models and provide commercial decision support for commercial, growth, content, product, and engineering teams.
• Own the unit economics of the content business, including royalties, card library performance, hirify.global Originals, and hirify.global Space P&L.
• Lead and develop a small team of strategic finance business partners covering market, growth, and international areas.
• Own the FP&A platform in Pigment and work with Finance Platform on the underlying systems and ERP integrations.
• Define departmental roadmaps and initiatives supporting hirify.global's long-term financial strategy with the CFO and senior leadership.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in FP&A or strategic finance, including financial models and forecasts that informed business decisions.
• Experience presenting to boards or senior investors and translating financial complexity into clear narratives.
• Working knowledge of content economics, including royalty structures, IP ownership models, or subscription unit economics, or the ability to develop this knowledge quickly.
• Experience managing and developing finance professionals while maintaining clear expectations and high standards.
• Strong command of FP&A tools and confidence working with ERP systems such as NetSuite.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement with regular presence in the London office.

Nice to have

• Experience in consumer hardware or media/content businesses.
• Exposure to fundraising and investor relations at a scale-up or growth-stage company.
• Experience with Pigment or a comparable FP&A platform.
