Senior Editor, Research & Thought Leadership

Location: Remote - United States

Base compensation: $116,000–$140,000 USD per year, with potential performance-based bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Edit, proofread, and substantively revise research reports, product and research articles, technical content, executive thought leadership, SEO articles, case studies, emails, newsletters, and social content.
• Write briefs, abstracts, headlines, summaries, promotional copy, and occasional ghostwritten content.
• Work with writers and subject matter experts, provide actionable feedback, and coach contributors to improve their work.
• Ensure content meets editorial standards and aligns with brand voice, tone, and messaging.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, sales, design, engineering, and other stakeholders to develop accurate and engaging content supported by data visualizations.
• Manage the Research and Thought Leadership editorial calendar, monitor content performance, optimize content for SEO, and maintain style guides and workflow documentation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience editing content for an institutional finance audience.
• Exceptional editing and writing skills, with strong command of grammar, syntax, and style.
• Solid understanding of financial markets, industries, companies, investing concepts, financial data, and market trends.
• Experience editing across web, email, and social media formats.
• Experience collaborating with writers, editors, marketers, designers, engineers, and subject matter experts.
• Proficiency with content management systems, Google Suite, Tableau, and project management tools such as Asana.

Nice to have

• Experience with SEO principles and content marketing best practices.
• Experience with data visualization and integrating charts, graphs, and infographics into written content.
