Video Field Support Specialist (HT1) (Government)

Location: Columbia, Maryland, United States. Onsite office presence required at least 5 days per week; no relocation is offered. Work an 8-hour shift scheduled between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

Salary: $47,600–$72,000 per year.

What you will do

• Provide Tier 2 and 3 onsite and remote support for workstations, servers, printers, peripherals, and teleconferencing equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, test, install, and configure hardware, network equipment, cabling, and video infrastructure.
• Conduct site surveys and prepare diagrams, configuration documentation, installation reports, and test reports.
• Assess hardware requirements, prepare procurement specifications, and develop installation schedules.
• Maintain fiber optic modems, multiplexers, fiber optic and Ethernet cabling, and telephone systems.
• Train site personnel, support end users, track issues through ticketing systems, and collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and business units.

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• High school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of relevant IT experience.
• 8570 certification required; Security+ certification highly preferred.
• Experience installing and troubleshooting computer hardware and peripherals, Windows operating systems, applications, antivirus software, and security patches.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows 7 and Windows 10, Active Directory security policies, technical manuals, and schematics.
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, eligibility to drive an hirify.global company vehicle, and ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
