QA Engineer - Contract

What you will do

• Deliver quality through manual, automated, functional, regression, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
• Create, maintain, and execute test cases in TestRail, including test data and preconditions.
• Investigate failures, perform root cause analysis, and document high-quality defects in JIRA.
• Validate applications across browsers, operating systems, mobile devices, and screen sizes.
• Manage builds and releases, prepare release notes, and report test results.
• Monitor application health, support helpdesk investigations, and recommend product usability and quality improvements.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software QA experience testing web and/or mobile applications.
• Strong experience with test case management, defect tracking, retesting, and clear reproduction evidence.
• Experience with SQL, preferably PostgreSQL, for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with TestRail, JIRA, or comparable testing and issue-tracking tools.
• Experience with web and mobile test automation, preferably Playwright with JavaScript and Appium or AltTester.
• Ability to troubleshoot failures, collaborate across Product, Design, Development, and QA, and communicate risks and release readiness clearly.

Nice to have

• Experience with BrowserStack and testing across browsers, devices, operating systems, and screen sizes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and source control, preferably GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Experience testing for ADA accessibility requirements.
