Senior DevSecOps Engineer

Location: El Segundo, California, United States. U.S. citizenship is required, and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance is required.

Salary: $126,000–$170,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across development, integration, test, and operational environments.
• Build automated deployment processes, Git-based workflows, Helm charts, and environment-specific configurations.
• Deploy, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Kubernetes-based application environments.
• Maintain software delivery toolchains for testing, security scanning, deployment, monitoring, and release management.
• Integrate security controls, vulnerability remediation, compliance checks, rollback strategies, and operational readiness into delivery pipelines.
• Collaborate with software developers, AI engineers, systems engineers, cyber teams, and operational stakeholders supporting secure space mission capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, platform engineering, release engineering, or software delivery.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based development workflows, Kubernetes administration, Helm charts, and containerized applications.
• Experience with deployment lifecycles across multiple environments and security domains, including cloud-native architectures.
• Strong scripting or automation skills with Bash, Python, or Go, plus strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with DoD or Space Systems Command programs, SATCOM, mission systems, operational C2 environments, or classified deployments.
• Knowledge of secure software delivery, supply chain security, artifact signing, SBOM generation, vulnerability management, and compliance automation.
• Experience with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Argo CD, Tekton, artifact repositories, Kubernetes security tools, Terraform, OpenTofu, or Ansible.
• Experience supporting MLOps platforms, AI workload orchestration, or machine learning lifecycle management.
• Relevant Kubernetes, security, cloud, systems engineering, or DevSecOps certifications.
