Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Location: On-site in Augusta, Georgia, United States, five days a week at the customer site

Salary: $143,507–$205,000 per year; $20,000 sign-on bonus for employees

What you will do

• Support the development and deployment of AWS cloud infrastructure and non-cloud edge infrastructure.
• Automate deployment processes and improve service reliability, scalability, performance, and availability.
• Manage Kubernetes containers and AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into the infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems and resolve complex operational issues.
• Continuously improve infrastructure processes, tools, and deployment practices.

Requirements

• Current TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph and U.S. citizenship are required.
• Must work on-site in Augusta, Georgia, five days per week.
• At least 15 years of DevOps engineering or software development experience with a related bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of advanced education and experience.
• Strong Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills, with experience in Terraform, Ansible, AWS, application and operating system deployment, scaling, and management.
• Ability to develop with Python, Bash, or Go, and familiarity with Git, Flux, and standard software development tools.
• DoD 8140/8570 compliance certification such as Security+, or the ability to obtain one before starting.

Nice to have

• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Hive, Drill, Impala, Trino, or Presto.
• Experience with EKS, Diode, CI/CD, and Terraform.
