Proposals Development Associate II - Lab Services (Clinical Research)

What you will do

• Lead, coordinate, and prepare customer-focused proposals, budgets, and client grids for new business opportunities.
• Evaluate requests for proposals and ensure complete, accurate submissions within agreed deadlines.
• Chair kick-off, budget, and strategy meetings and coordinate contributors across Business Development, Project Management, Laboratory Operations, and Scientific Affairs.
• Prepare proposal budgets, assumptions, specifications, and contract budgets by working with operational departments.
• Support the commercial process and align proposal strategies with business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a science or business subject.
• Professional experience in a CRO, pharmaceutical, or healthcare laboratory environment.
• Previous proposals experience, including RFP evaluation and understanding of industry cost drivers and costing algorithms.
• Ability to read and understand clinical trial protocols, schedules of events, and basic testing requirements.
• Strong numeracy, communication, organisational, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to travel at least 5% of the time internationally and domestically.
