Manager II, Logistics Operations - (M2)

Location: Austin, TX, United States. Onsite logistics operations role with 20% travel. Relocation is not eligible.

Salary: $68,000.00–$93,500.00 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate with outsourced logistics providers and internal planning, ordering, purchasing, and customer account teams.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels and conduct physical inventory verification.
• Manage warehousing operations and commitment methodologies.
• Determine staffing needs and support recruitment, training, retention, and employee development.
• Prepare activity and status reports, operational review materials, and excess or obsolete inventory analyses.
• Create claims for lost or damaged materials and support suppliers with parts claims.

Requirements

• Experience applying procedures and concepts within logistics operations and related job families.
• Ability to improve team efficiency through cross-functional business understanding.
• Formal supervisory experience, including setting priorities and coaching employees.
• Ability to resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems using sound judgment.
• Tact and diplomacy when communicating with customers, vendors, suppliers, and employees.
• Availability for Shift 2A: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and alternating Wednesday, 6:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.
