What you will do

• Manage consumable inventory planning, procurement coordination, receiving, tracking, and distribution across the institute.
• Use SAP reporting tools to determine material requirements, maintain inventory records, and support timely replenishment.
• Oversee stockroom, minimart, receiving dock, cycle-counting, asset-tagging, and physical inventory activities.
• Monitor chemical and flammable supplies, inventory levels, and related compliance requirements.
• Coordinate purchase orders with vendors, Procurement, end users, and new research groups.
• Supervise, coach, and manage the performance of Logistics personnel.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in inventory or operations management using computerized systems.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Proficiency with computers, SAP or other MRP systems, and spreadsheets.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with biological and chemical products is preferred.
