Buyer / Planner (Supply Chain)

Location: Onsite in Johnson City, Tennessee, United States

Salary: $65,000–$80,000 annually

What you will do

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers on pricing and commercial terms.
• Analyze market trends and use data to support purchasing decisions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to maintain inventory levels that meet operational requirements.
• Manage supplier relationships, contracts, sales purchase orders, and LRP inventories.
• Review MRP requirements, inventory balances, blueprints, and material and engineering specifications.
• Use ERP systems to manage inventory requirements and support cost-effective, high-quality purchasing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of procurement or supply chain experience, or equivalent experience through an associate’s degree or high school diploma.
• Experience in planning, procurement, or inventory management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Analytical ability to interpret data and market trends.
• Familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems.
• Ability to work onsite in Johnson City, Tennessee, and access U.S. export-controlled information.

• Degree in Supply Chain Management or Operations Management.
