Financial Analyst - Technology

What you will do

• Support technology financial planning and analysis across budgets, forecasts, operating expenses, capital investments, headcount, allocations, and vendor spend.
• Review Workday Financial reports, detailed spending, paid invoices, and journal entries for accuracy.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, including accruals, expense validation, and financial reporting.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, charts, and executive-ready summaries.
• Perform budget-to-actual, forecast-to-actual, and period-over-period variance analysis to identify cost drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with Technology, Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and other stakeholders on planning, reporting, cost allocation, and chargeback processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 2–5 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related field.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• High proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Experience supporting technology or complex cost functions is preferred.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Power BI, Claude, and Copilot.
• Experience in the insurance or finance industry.
• Experience with enterprise planning, financial reporting, or technology financial management tools.
