Financial Analyst (Robotics)

Location: USA (remote)

Salary: $100,000–$125,000 per year, plus equity; compensation varies by geographic location and level.

What you will do

• Prepare, analyze, and maintain detailed financial models and forecasts.
• Perform variance analysis on budget versus actual results and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Build scenario models to assess the financial impact of business strategies and decisions.
• Use advanced Excel, Google Sheets, ChatGPT, scripting, and workflow automation to simplify reporting.
• Partner with business units and cross-functional teams to provide actionable financial insights.
• Prepare financial commentary and support reporting integrity and closing processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a technology, robotics, or fast-paced environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including complex financial modeling.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
• Comfort using emerging productivity tools such as ChatGPT, scripting, and workflow automation.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with scenario modeling and financial forecasting tools.
• Experience with ERP tools such as NetSuite.
• Experience implementing FP&A planning tools such as Planful, Pigment, Anaplan, or Adaptive.
