Lead Analyst Cloud Financial Operations (Cloud FinOps): Managing financial reporting, budgets, forecasts, contracts, and cloud spending for enterprise data platforms with an accent on AWS cost management, financial visibility, and cross-functional analysis. Focus on building cost dashboards and models, identifying spending variances and savings opportunities, and improving platform economics.
Location: Remote - Nationwide, United States. Applicants must already be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship, including CPT/OPT sponsorship, is not available.
Base salary: $114,000-$165,300 per year, with eligibility for a bonus program.

What you will do
- Manage financial reporting for enterprise data platforms, including budgets, expenses, forecasts, run rates, and cost metrics.
- Track cloud consumption, platform expenses, contracts, licenses, renewals, and financial commitments.
- Analyze actual spending against budgets, identify variances and trends, and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor AWS and other technology costs to improve consumption efficiency and financial controls.
- Consolidate financial and usage information from teams, systems, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Build spreadsheets, dashboards, reports, and financial models for business and technology leaders while supporting contract and license planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of Cloud FinOps experience or experience managing the finances of cloud infrastructure, data platforms, or technology environments.
- Strong proficiency with Excel or similar spreadsheet tools for organizing, reconciling, analyzing, and modeling financial information.
- Experience with budgets, expenses, forecasts, run rates, contracts, or other financial and operational metrics.
- Familiarity with AWS or another major cloud platform, particularly cloud cost management, billing, or usage reporting.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain financial information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS Cost Management, Billing, Cost Explorer, Azure, Google Cloud, or Snowflake cost reporting.
- Experience with scenario modeling, variance analysis, technology contracts, software licensing, vendor agreements, and renewal planning.
- Experience building financial dashboards or executive-level technology reporting.
- Experience in a large enterprise environment or relevant FinOps, AWS, or cloud cost management certification.
