Program Control Analyst

Location: Hybrid, with at least 3 business days onsite at the Fairfax, Virginia corporate office and/or Ashburn, Virginia customer site. US citizenship required.

Salary: $70,000–$91,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, Estimate at Completion development, variance analysis, and other program control activities.
• Prepare monthly financial reports covering cost and schedule performance metrics.
• Monitor contract funding and burn rates, identify financial risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures and charge number structures while coordinating with program, project, and functional leads.
• Prepare and review contract deliverables, including CDRLs, status reports, and financial exhibits.
• Support proposal development, subcontractor cost analysis, pricing, and cost volume preparation.

Requirements

• US citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an elevated Public Trust clearance from the Department of Homeland Security, including passing a stringent background check.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–4+ years of experience in program or project control, financial analysis, or a related field within government contracting.
• Proficiency with financial management systems such as Deltek Costpoint or Oracle, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and knowledge of federal contract types including FFP, T&M, Cost-Plus, CPFF, and CPIF.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, prioritization, and independent working skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, or civilian agency contracts.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, large complex programs, or IDIQ/task order contracts.
• Professional certification such as Certified Defense Financial Manager or similar.
