IT Project Manager

Location: Hybrid in Lisbon, Portugal

What you will do

• Lead IT Managed Services projects and service engagements from initiation through delivery and transition to steady-state operations.
• Act as the primary client liaison, managing communication, expectations, and customer satisfaction.
• Plan, monitor, and control project scope, schedules, budgets, quality, SLAs, KPIs, and service expectations.
• Coordinate technical teams, operations, vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders in cross-functional and matrix environments.
• Identify and mitigate project and operational risks, escalate issues, and propose solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement, service transitions, client onboarding, change management, and project reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience as a Project Manager in IT Services, Managed Services, or Service Delivery environments.
• Solid knowledge of project management methodologies, service delivery models, SLAs, KPIs, and operational governance.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams in international or matrix environments.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese is required for the hybrid Lisbon-based role.

Nice to have

• Project Management certification.
• Experience with global clients and distributed teams.
• Background in IT Operations, Application Support, Infrastructure, or cloud-based services.
• Knowledge of ITIL or service management frameworks.
