Service Owner (SAP HCM Payroll System)

Location: Hybrid in Portugal, with office options in Lisbon or Porto; remote work is permitted within Portugal.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end performance, availability, compliance, and operational stability of SAP HCM Payroll and Time Management services.
• Establish and monitor service-level agreements and key performance indicators for operational delivery.
• Manage external service providers and internal delivery teams while driving accountability and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with IT architects and business analysts to translate HR requirements into scalable SAP HCM configurations.
• Act as the primary contact for global HR business partners and align payroll service roadmaps with corporate HR strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in IT service management or system ownership, focused on SAP HCM Payroll and Time Management.
• SAP Certified Application Associate certification in SAP HCM Payroll and ITIL Foundation certification.
• Strong functional and technical knowledge of SAP HCM Payroll and Time Management modules.
• Understanding of European payroll compliance and GDPR standards.
• Experience with stakeholder management in a global, matrixed organization, system transitions, and large-scale HR IT platform migrations.
