Functional Validation Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Execute complete spacecraft testing cycles, from specification through assessment, using simulated numerical and hybrid hardware test benches.
• Validate spacecraft functional chains, including GNC and DHS, as well as hardware and software sub-assemblies through open- and closed-loop testing.
• Develop, document, and execute Automated Test Procedures against detailed test specifications.
• Analyse test data and prepare test reports in collaboration with design engineering teams.
• Investigate technical anomalies, identify root causes, and propose engineering solutions.
• Support functional verification strategy, scheduling, and communication with system architects and customers.

Requirements

• Entry-level technical aptitude or foundational knowledge in engineering, electronics, software, or a related field.
• Strong interest in aerospace, spacecraft, and technology.
• Must have or be able to obtain UK Eyes Only SC Security Clearance through the UK Intelligence Community process.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are required.
• Proactive, collaborative approach with ownership of personal and professional development.
