What you will do

• Lead the engineering department responsible for building, installing, and validating engines and components for R&D and technology development programs.
• Set and execute departmental strategy in alignment with business priorities and long-term technology goals.
• Lead, coach, and develop multidisciplinary teams across office-based engineering and shop-floor operations.
• Manage departmental operations and CAPEX budgets while delivering strategic commitments.
• Collaborate with product lifecycle management, new technology, operations, manufacturing, and executive stakeholders.
• Drive engineering excellence, standardization, safety, compliance, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience leading large, multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of engineering design processes and product development methodologies.
• Proven experience developing complex mechanical systems, particularly gas turbines, power generation, aerospace, or similar products.
• Experience managing significant engineering budgets and strategic initiatives.
• Knowledge of gas turbine product structures, design specifications, validation processes, and relevant safety and environmental regulations.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of instrumentation systems and high-temperature measurement technologies.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001, ISO 50001, and ISO 45001.
