Business Systems Analyst Consultant (Fintech)

Location: In-office in Birmingham, AL; Strongsville, OH; Denver, CO; Phoenix, AZ; Pittsburgh, PA; or Dallas, TX

Base salary: $55,000.00–$120,750.00 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and system workflows.
• Translate business needs into actionable system requirements while considering data, process, and technology constraints.
• Support solution design by validating requirements, identifying dependencies, and aligning solutions with downstream systems and enterprise standards.
• Partner with business users, product owners, and technology delivery teams to align scope, priorities, and outcomes.
• Facilitate working sessions, requirement reviews, and walkthroughs.
• Provide consulting on application planning, configuration, process improvement, client feedback, and risk management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant or direct industry experience.
• Experience with requirements analysis, business process modeling, workflow analysis, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of IT environments, IT project management, application development, and software solutions.
• Ability to communicate with sales-focused and process-focused stakeholders and manage business risks.
• Must work in-office at one of the listed U.S. locations; employment visa sponsorship and STEM OPT participation are not provided.

Nice to have

• CBAP certification.
• Experience with Agile project management, release management, UX design, and program or project management.
