Cloud DevSecOps Engineer

Location: Remote within the United States; US citizenship and the ability to pass a Public Trust background check are required.

Salary: $130,000–$175,000 per year

What you will do

• Architect, provision, configure, and maintain production-grade Kubernetes clusters for containerized frontend, backend, and identity services.
• Deploy and administer highly available Keycloak Identity Broker services in Kubernetes, federated with Okta through SAML 2.0 and OIDC.
• Configure Keycloak realms, roles, client scopes, identity brokering rules, and token exchange policies for React and Spring Boot services.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for image builds, vulnerability scanning, automated testing gates, and zero-downtime Helm deployments.
• Implement platform security controls including ingress routing, TLS automation, network policies, secrets management, and container image scanning.
• Maintain PostgreSQL and Amazon S3 infrastructure, along with centralized logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability.

Requirements

• US citizenship and ability to pass a Public Trust background check.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• 6+ years of systems engineering, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure experience in enterprise Linux and cloud environments.
• 4+ years of production Kubernetes experience and 3+ years managing enterprise IAM systems, specifically Keycloak and Okta.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Helm, Kubernetes YAML, networking, DNS, TLS/SSL, and reverse proxy routing.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go and clear technical communication.

Nice to have

• CKA or CKS certification.
• Experience with the Keycloak Kubernetes Operator and highly available relational databases.
• AWS security experience covering IAM policies, S3, and VPC networking.
• Experience with Trivy, SonarQube, OWASP ZAP, Snyk, ArgoCD, or Flux.
• Agile/Scrum experience in public trust or federal environments.
