Senior Investment Analyst, Private Mortgages

What you will do

• Structure and execute private securitisation transactions, including asset cashflow, capital structure, and investor return analysis.
• Manage periodic note issuances from private securitisation programmes and engage with rating agencies.
• Assess mortgage and consumer-credit investment opportunities across different lending assets.
• Analyse rating, structural, capital, and profitability impacts on new and existing transactions.
• Produce scenario analysis, transaction models, and investment recommendations.
• Collaborate with portfolio management, risk, finance, legal, and governance teams across the investment lifecycle.

Requirements

• Experience in quantitative analysis, structuring, securitisation, or structured finance.
• Strong cashflow modelling and financial analysis skills.
• Understanding of residential mortgages, consumer credit, asset-backed lending, or securitised products.
• Ability to interpret complex modelling outputs and turn findings into commercial recommendations.
• Experience in an insurer, bank, asset manager, rating agency, or similar environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; experience with covered bonds is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• VBA, Python, or R skills.
• Experience with covered bonds.
• Interest in learning new asset classes, funding structures, and investment products.
