Assistant Finance Analyst - 12 month FTC (Retail)

Location: Leicester, United Kingdom; on-site role

hirify.global is a retail business with Retail, UK Online, Label and International divisions, supported by a Commercial Finance team.

What you will do

• Manage month-end accounting for allocated cost centres, including accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Oversee cost allocations and recharges across hirify.global divisions and Total Platform clients.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, variance analysis, forecasts and seasonal budgets.
• Work with cost centre managers and finance stakeholders to improve spend visibility, cost accuracy and expenditure control.
• Reconcile information across multiple datasets and support audit requests.
• Improve cost management through Power BI reporting, enhanced processes and financial analysis.

Requirements

• Part-qualified accountant status, such as studying towards ACCA or CIMA.
• Strong Excel skills and high IT literacy, with interest in Power BI and reporting improvements.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial and operational information.
• Ability to analyse large volumes of data while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to explain financial information to finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Proactive, organised and collaborative approach with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
