What you will do
- Maintain a twice-yearly Excel financial forecast report by collecting, validating, and analysing stakeholder inputs.
- Produce ad-hoc reports and analyse store forecasts using Excel.
- Write and optimise database queries while working with relational databases.
- Analyse large datasets, interpret findings, and provide insights for business-critical decisions.
- Support financial automation projects and identify trends requiring further investigation.
- Collaborate with financial and non-financial stakeholders across the global business.
Requirements
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong financial skills supported by relevant qualifications such as AAT, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
- Experience with accounting software such as Dream.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, commercial, organisational, and prioritisation skills.
- Confidence communicating with senior stakeholders and working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with VBA and Power Query.
- Familiarity with Airtable.
- Experience with Python or R.
