Senior Manager, Commissioning (Battery Energy Storage Systems)

What you will do

• Lead the EPC commissioning program from preconstruction through project completion, start-up, and system turnover.
• Manage on-site commissioning for electrical, mechanical, controls, fire, utility, structural, and vendor-installed systems.
• Develop commissioning execution plans, systemization strategies, logic sequences, checklists, procedures, staffing plans, and inspection standards.
• Coordinate commissioning agents, trade contractors, vendors, clients, and internal infrastructure, facilities, operations, maintenance, and process engineering teams.
• Manage commissioning schedules, budgets, completion tracking, design reviews, factory acceptance testing, equipment preservation, safety reviews, and project closeout.
• Support dispute resolution, debriefs, personnel development, and the continued growth of the EPC commissioning program.

Requirements

• 10+ years of large-scale commissioning management experience.
• 5+ years of personnel management experience and experience managing commissioning agents.
• 4+ years of experience with BESS, PV, or renewable-energy DC systems.
• Experience with CxAlloy, Procore, MS Office, advanced Excel, and Primavera P6.
• Valid driver’s license and strong skills in project risk management, stakeholder coordination, communication, and technical documentation.
• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is beneficial.
