Senior Manager, Data Center Construction

What you will do

• Own delivery of a large-scale data center building from GMP handoff through energization, Level 1–5 commissioning, integrated systems testing, and turnover to operations.
• Manage the building schedule, critical path, recovery plans, quantified risks, owner contingency, and campus master-schedule inputs.
• Oversee general contractors and trade partners, including safety, quality, staffing, commercial performance, change orders, pay applications, and forecasts.
• Lead integrated cost, schedule, cash-flow, earned-value, and cost-to-complete forecasting for the facility.
• Coordinate owner-furnished equipment, utility and energization readiness, commissioning, regulatory inspections, and operational turnover.
• Report building status, risks, costs, forecasts, and customer delivery milestones to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years delivering large-scale mission-critical projects, including at least 3 years in a senior project or building leadership role.
• Demonstrated delivery of a data center or comparable mission-critical facility from construction through commissioning and turnover.
• Working knowledge of GMP delivery, risk management, contractor oversight, MEP, commissioning, civil, and structural systems.
• Experience with OFCI equipment, cost control, change management, and schedule analysis.
• Familiarity with Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and SharePoint; full-time on-site presence in Afton, Texas is required.
