Construction Manager (F/M/D) for Industrial and Specialized Facilities (Infrastructure)

Location: Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany; continuous physical presence on the construction site is required

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day on-site construction activities for major industrial and infrastructure projects in Nuremberg.
• Oversee contractors, subcontractors, and execution teams to maintain quality, sustainability, and safety standards.
• Monitor progress, conduct site inspections, and resolve technical or logistical issues affecting delivery.
• Manage project risks, schedules, budgets, documentation, and progress reporting.
• Coordinate internal teams, consultants, contractors, and local authorities as the primary on-site contact.
• Integrate energy-efficiency measures and support green building certification for new facilities.

Requirements

• Master's degree or equivalent in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, MEP Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience managing construction projects involving infrastructure and specialized industrial facilities.
• Expertise in construction project management, infrastructure execution, construction contracts, risk management, project planning, and budget control.
• Knowledge of QHSE standards and local German building, safety, and operational requirements.
• Advanced German proficiency required.
• Advanced English proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Safety Coordinator (SiGeKo) certification according to BaustellV.
