What you will do

• Design and architect Microsoft Azure solutions within established target architectures and standards.
• Define and implement Azure landing zones, governance, networking, identity, virtual desktop, compute, and storage capabilities.
• Provide technical guidance to MSP and supplier delivery teams under the direction of the Lead Cloud & Platform Architect.
• Support enterprise Azure migrations, workload assessment, migration execution, and operational support.
• Escalate architectural decisions and contribute to secure, resilient cloud platform delivery.

Requirements

• Extensive cloud or infrastructure engineering experience with significant recent hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.
• Experience delivering at least one enterprise Azure migration and working in MSP- or supplier-delivered environments.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Landing Zones, Azure Policy, governance, Virtual WAN, hybrid connectivity, Entra ID, Active Directory, RBAC, DNS, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Experience with Azure VM, GPU and HPC workloads, enterprise storage, NAS/Nasuni, large-scale data migration, security, firewalls, and Private Endpoints.
• Experience with Terraform or Bicep, PowerShell, Azure CLI, Azure Migrate, Azure Monitor, backup, disaster recovery, and operational support.
• Microsoft Azure certification AZ-104 and/or AZ-700.

Nice to have

• Additional Azure certifications such as AZ-305, AZ-500, or AZ-140.
• Awareness of Zero Trust principles and exposure to AWS.
• Experience in regulated, critical-infrastructure, or energy-sector environments.
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
