What you will do

• Define and maintain enterprise data architecture, including target-state designs and architectural standards.
• Own the architecture of the Databricks Lakehouse platform, including Unity Catalog and medallion architecture.
• Design secure integration patterns for sharing data with external clients using Delta Sharing and APIs.
• Lead the adoption of Master Data Management (MDM) strategies and stewardship processes.
• Establish standards for Databricks performance, cost optimization, and workload right-sizing.
• Partner with AI/ML teams to design data architectures that support machine learning, GenAI, and agentic use cases.

Requirements

• Deep hands-on proficiency with Databricks, including Unity Catalog and Delta Lake.
• Strong track record in designing and implementing Master Data Management solutions.
• Expertise in data modeling (dimensional, 3NF, Data Vault) and defining enterprise data models.
• Solid grounding in Azure storage, networking, and identity concepts.
• Experience with data governance frameworks, data quality management, and lineage tooling.
• Strong SQL skills with working knowledge of Python or Spark.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Purview.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements such as GDPR.
