What you will do

• Guide enterprise customers through the full lifecycle of Databricks deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Design secure, scalable cloud architectures covering networking, private connectivity, identity, and compliance.
• Advise on infrastructure-as-code, platform administration, high availability, disaster recovery, observability, and cloud cost management.
• Demonstrate custom-built solutions and position Databricks in competitive customer scenarios.
• Coordinate specialists, field engineering, partners, and other cross-functional resources to deliver complex solutions.
• Provide customer feedback to influence product direction and coach other team members.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, or a senior hands-on technical role.
• Advanced expertise in cloud security, identity, enterprise networking, private connectivity, platform administration, and large-scale deployments.
• Hands-on infrastructure automation experience with Terraform and cloud-native tools such as CloudFormation, CDK, Azure Resource Manager, Bicep, or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
• Strong coding proficiency in Python and SQL, including live coding, debugging, and solution building.
• Deep knowledge of distributed data systems, scalable pipelines, streaming architectures, lakehouse patterns, and cloud-native data platforms.
• Proficiency in Databricks, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead architecture discussions with technical and executive stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Databricks or professional-level AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud certifications.
• Experience with Snowflake, Azure Synapse, BigQuery, or other competitive data platforms.
• Background in a data/AI company or cloud provider.
