R&D Senior Scientist (Cancer Diagnostics)

What you will do

• Lead defined R&D projects and work packages supporting the development and lifecycle management of cancer diagnostic products.
• Plan, execute, and interpret laboratory studies involving histopathology, immunohistochemistry, molecular biology, chemistry, and detection methodologies.
• Solve complex technical problems using scientific judgment, structured problem-solving, and hirify.global Business System tools.
• Provide technical input, communicate complex information, build consensus, and mentor scientists and project team members.
• Support product development from concept and feasibility through development, verification, validation, and transfer.

Requirements

• PhD in a relevant scientific discipline, or an equivalent degree with substantial relevant experience.
• Practical experience in immunohistochemistry, histopathology, chemistry, molecular biology, or a related discipline.
• Experience working in a regulated environment, with knowledge of requirements for in vitro diagnostic or medical device products.
• Experience progressing scientific ideas from conception through feasibility and project initiation.

• Experience leading small teams or defined technical work, coaching or mentoring colleagues, and applying continuous-improvement tools.
