What you will do

• Lead innovation across chromatography, diagnostics, and biopharma consumables.
• Design and execute complex polymer synthesis, particle manufacturing, and surface functionalization work.
• Apply advanced analytical and materials characterization techniques to develop polymeric and silica particle technologies.
• Lead major R&D projects and advise R&D, manufacturing, and cross-functional partners.
• Transfer polymer particle processes from laboratory prototypes to full-scale manufacturing, ensuring scalability, robustness, cost-effectiveness, and reproducibility.
• Shape technology strategies, support intellectual property generation, and mentor scientists and technical teams.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or M.S. in Polymer Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Typically 8+ years of relevant experience across polymer or organic synthesis, polymeric particle manufacturing, surface functionalization, and materials characterization.
• Working knowledge of chromatography and biopharma applications.
• Demonstrated success solving complex technical problems and delivering innovative product or technology solutions.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary technical efforts and developing product or technology strategies.
• Strong communication skills for presenting complex scientific concepts to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
