Senior Product Manager (PropTech)

What you will do

• Own the APAC product line strategy, vision, roadmap, sequencing, and lifecycle from concept through launch and adoption.
• Engage with clients and prospects across Australia, New Zealand, and the wider region to gather evidence and represent customer priorities in global roadmap forums.
• Serve as the regional product voice at client forums, industry events, and analyst and partner discussions.
• Track market trends, fund structures, capital flows, and automation opportunities across real estate investment management.
• Translate AASB, IFRS, ASIC, AREIT, and New Zealand regulatory requirements into timely product requirements.
• Develop business cases, pricing and packaging, build-buy-partner decisions, and KPI reporting in collaboration with sales, pre-sales, and marketing.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience in enterprise software, with ownership of business outcomes.
• Working knowledge of real estate investment management or fund operations, including acquisitions, fund accounting, valuations, debt, or distributions.
• Demonstrated customer discovery experience that has directly influenced product roadmaps.
• Credibility with senior client stakeholders such as CFOs, fund controllers, heads of asset management, and investment directors.
• Ability to make and explain decisions with incomplete data, communicate clearly in writing, and collaborate asynchronously across time zones.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in business or finance.
• Direct experience with Australian or New Zealand fund structures and reporting obligations.
• Background in an asset manager, fund administrator, or real estate investment firm.
• Experience with MRI products or mentoring less experienced product managers.
