Product Manager - Sensing (Quantum Sensing)

What you will do

• Own the problem space, opportunity, and product direction for a new quantum sensing product area.
• Define product development plans, roadmaps, and go-to-market strategy with engineering, design, marketing, research, and sales stakeholders.
• Use customer data, feedback, technology trends, and market insights to iterate features and optimize customer impact.
• Guide development of scalable platform features across software and hardware product technology stacks.
• Translate scientific and emerging technology concepts into product requirements, customer solutions, and new features.
• Support qualification, certification, manufacturing, prioritization, and pre- and post-launch execution across the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of product management experience in quantum sensing, navigation, aerospace, defense, or a related industry.
• Experience identifying market opportunities and customer needs and executing product roadmaps within broader organizational strategies.
• Familiarity with crewed and uncrewed aviation platforms, including UAS/UAV, and maritime platforms, including USV, UUV, and AUV.
• Experience delivering hardware and software products through qualification, certification, manufacturing, and launch.
• Business development experience with sensing companies and hardware suppliers.
• Ability to create technical presentations, research independently, and write statements of work and research contract proposals.

Nice to have

• Experience with export controls, product standards, or regulations such as DO-160/178/254, MIL-STD-810/461, and RoHS/REACH.
• Familiarity with mining, geology, aerospace, defense, or government sectors.
• Australian NV2 security clearance.
