Health, Safety and Well Being Manager (Nuclear)

Location: Cumbria, co-located in Westlakes and across the Sellafield site, United Kingdom

What you will do

• Coordinate health, safety, and wellbeing arrangements across major projects and principal contractors.
• Manage the PDD learning review process, including fact-finding, learning reviews, leadership intervention calls, incident review boards, and peer reviews.
• Integrate wellbeing and safety initiatives into a consistent framework across the partnership.
• Provide health and safety advice, assurance-based compliance support, and day-to-day operational guidance.
• Conduct audits and support risk management, assurance, and compliance activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant management qualification.
• Relevant professional accreditation, such as CMIOSH.
• Experience in health, safety, or wellbeing advisory roles within large, complex, or multi-contractor environments.
• Experience creating and conducting audits, managing risk, and performing assurance and compliance activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organisation, collaboration, and spreadsheet/data-trending skills.
• Full driving licence and the right to live and work in the United Kingdom are required; visa sponsorship is not available.
