SHEQ Manager

Location: Glenelly - Livingston; the role is based in Kilmarnock and supports projects across the UK.

What you will do

• Provide SHEQ guidance, advice, governance, and support to projects and business operations.
• Lead, guide, and hold SHEQ Advisors accountable for day-to-day contract activities.
• Maintain and drive accreditations including ISO standards, NERS, Achilles, and RoSPA.
• Develop, implement, and monitor SHEQ strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct internal and external audits and manage governing-body compliance.
• Produce reports, track KPIs, analyze data, and support senior leadership and operational directors.

Requirements

• Chartered membership of a relevant professional body such as NEBOSH or IOSH, or active progress toward membership.
• Diploma, degree, or HNC-level education.
• Proven experience leading and managing a team.
• Strong influencing, persuasion, communication, motivational, leadership, and coaching skills.
• Analytical ability with strong attention to detail.
• Experience reviewing and producing SHEQ reports for executive-level audiences.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in the DNO and ICP environment.
