H&S Manager Events & Broadcast

Location: Holborn, London and Leicester Square, London; the role includes UK and international travel and may require out-of-hours support.

What you will do

• Provide practical health and safety advice for live events, outside broadcasts, experiential activity, content production, podcast studios, and workplace operations.
• Support the health and safety management system through audits, inspections, assurance activity, and alignment with the Integrated Management System and ISO 45001 approach.
• Lead health and safety management for podcast studios, including guidance, property audits, inspections, and improvement actions.
• Review contractor documentation, monitor compliance, and work with suppliers and external partners to manage operational risk.
• Support accident and incident reporting, investigations, follow-up actions, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain training records and develop practical guidance, tools, and training sessions.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in health and safety management, relevant legislation, and industry guidance.
• Experience in live events, media, entertainment, broadcast, production, studio, or similarly complex operational environments.
• Experience with risk assessment, incident investigations, proportionate controls, and stakeholder advice.
• Experience managing contractor and supplier assurance processes.
• Strong communication, influencing, planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
• A NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent health and safety qualification.
