Substrate Capacity Manager (Semiconductor)

Location: Hybrid role based in Kulim, Malaysia, with an additional location in Penang, Malaysia; regular on-site work at an assigned hirify.global site is required.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end supplier capacity expansion programs, including scope, schedules, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
• Coordinate engineering, operations, planning, finance, and supplier teams to deliver capacity against technology and production roadmaps.
• Develop long-range capacity strategies and investment plans for R&D, product ramps, and high-volume manufacturing.
• Manage supplier manufacturing expansion roadmaps covering facility readiness, equipment installation, qualification, and production ramp-up.
• Translate business forecasts into capacity requirements and align supplier capabilities with future demand.
• Drive risk mitigation, continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in project management, capacity planning, or a related role.
• Knowledge of semiconductor, assembly, substrate, or related manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience delivering results through cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Experience in capacity planning or capital expenditure execution in the semiconductor or technology industry.
