Sr. Manager, APAC Instrument Operations (Medtech)

What you will do

• Lead resource allocation, project prioritization, execution planning, and operational capacity management across APAC Instrument Operations.
• Develop and standardize operational processes, governance frameworks, KPI dashboards, and performance management systems.
• Present executive-level reviews covering project metrics, capacity, risks, mitigation plans, and schedule performance.
• Represent APAC Instrument Operations in enterprise and regional projects, ensuring operational readiness and cross-functional execution.
• Establish pilot-line manufacturing processes and controls for cost, quality, delivery, capacity utilization, and production readiness.
• Manage operational execution with APAC contract manufacturers and onsite facilities, including build plans, labor, capacity, equipment, safety, and infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 9 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with at least 7 years, in manufacturing operations, operations management, industrial engineering, supply chain, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 7 years managing manufacturing or production-line performance, including capacity planning, scheduling, labor utilization, quality, and delivery.
• Experience implementing manufacturing processes, SOPs, work instructions, and operational control systems in a regulated production environment.
• At least 4 years of direct people-management experience covering workforce planning and performance management.
• Experience with product cost analysis, cost rollups, BOM reviews, variance analysis, E&O inventory programs, and inventory reduction.
• Proficiency with manufacturing and operational systems for production planning, inventory management, cost tracking, capacity analysis, and performance reporting.
